Adults dressed as superheroes and comic-book characters take over Seattle this weekend. But that's not all!

The big event in Downtown Seattle is  Emerald City Comic-Con -- on  now through Sunday at the Washington State Convention Center. They call it  "the destination comic and pop culture show for the Pacific Northwest. ECCC delivers the best that the comics and pop culture industry has to offer directly from the creators, bringing super fans exactly what they crave: interaction with quality content and guests and an inclusive space to celebrate their fandom."

For outdoorsy kiddos and parents, there’s the Outdoor Gear & Adventure ExpoSeattle Bike Show, and Seattle Golf & Travel Show—at Centurylink Field Event Center on Saturday and Sunday.

Hardy runners might want to try the Hot Chocolate 15K and 5K run on Sunday. It starts and finishes at Seattle Center, and it means Highway 99 will close in both directions on Sunday morning between 6 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. from the Battery Street Tunnel and over the Aurora Bridge.

Another one for the kids: Polar Science Weekend at Pacific Science Center through Sunday. An action-packed polar adventure with hands-on activities, live science shows and a chance to meet local scientists to talk about the poles.

Meanwhile, at Seattle's Burke Museum, it's Dino Days.  The museum invites kids to "see hundreds of exciting dinosaur fossils and other prehistoric creatures from the Burke's collection! This year, become a Junior Paleontologist and hone your prehistoric sleuthing skills. Meet paleontologists and talk to them about what it's like to have a career working with fossils, as well as their groundbreaking research from around the world."

Whatever you're up to with your crew, we hope you'll take the New 94.1 The Sound along for the ride.

Have a great weekend!
