Sounders championship victory parade is Tuesday at noon in downtown Seattle

Here's what you need to know about the parade through downtown Seattle in honor of the Sounders' second MLS Championship

That 3-1 Sounders victory felt great at they triumphed over Toronto FC to win their second MLS Championship on Sunday. Ecstatic fans poured into Pioneer Square after the game to bask in the good vibes, a.k.a. drink and scream.

And now, the plan for the official celebration. It's happening on Tuesday at noon, so anybody who's working downtown will have a great excuse for a longer-than-usual lunch break. According to the official Sounders FC announcement:

Commencing at 12:00 p.m. PT, the parade route will begin at Westlake Park on the corner of 4th Avenue and Pine. The parade will weave through downtown and culminate in a rally on the Fisher Pavilion Lawn at Seattle Center, which will begin roughly at 1:30 p.m. PT.
