The highlight of the weekend has to be Delilah's appearance at the Seattle Women's Show on Saturday -- but there's lots to do all weekend

Remember that the Seahawks-Raiders game in London's Wembley Stadium is on Sunday morning at 10 our time, so maybe buy those party snacks on Saturday -- maybe on the way home from meeting Delilah at the Seattle Women's Show! Here's what there is to do this weekend . . . 

 

  • 2018 Seattle Women’s Show Saturday 10am-6pm Over 100 exhibitor booths including: makeup & beauty, fashion & accessories, health & wellness, travel & experiential, tech, business services and more!  Meet our own Delilah in the Sound Lounge between noon and 2pm and register to win a signed copy of her new book, One Heart at a Time.   • Luke Bryan at White River Amphitheatre, Friday 7pm
  • Cranberry Harvest Festival in Grayland has Saturday bog tours, a market, and a Firefly Parade at  7:30 p.m. on Saturday Cranberrian Fair in Ilwaco has craft vendors, a self-guided harvesting tour, and a cranberry museum. 
  • Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel: The Exhibition Friday – Sunday. See Michelangelo’s iconic frescoes reproduced in their exact size in the Tacoma Armory.
  • Borealis Friday – Sunday.  “A kaleidoscope of light, color, and illusion will transform the exterior of MOHAI” It’s a free light show at the Museum of History and Industry, showcasing an international video projection mapping competition in 4 nightly performances.  Register for a time slot. Also a self-guided walking tour throughout the South Lake Union neighborhood of 2 dozen light art installations (see map) from regional and international artists and artist teams rounds out the festival.  South Lake Union. Free.
  • Tacoma Fall RV Show Friday – Sunday. Celebrating 35 years of RV shopping.  See the latest recreational vehicles in the Tacoma Dome.

  • Fall Wine Walk  Friday, 5:30 to 9pm. Visit shops serving wine and a few snacks with a ticket in downtown Kent for age 21+.
  • Legally Blonde: The Musical  Through October 28  Harvard’s beloved blonde takes the stage by storm in award-winning show based on the movie.  Seattle Musical Theatre at Sand Point.
  • Come from Away Friday through November 4. With incredible kindness, the people of Newfoundland welcomed 7,000 airline passengers stranded for days when all flights were grounded on 9/11.  “A musical that changes you, heals old wounds, and lifts the spirit” at 5th Avenue Theatre.
  • Orting Pumpkin Fest  Saturday 10am-5pm. Food vendors (all with at least one pumpkin item), family entertainment on two stages, a car show, arts & crafts booths, live entertainment, and a noon Little Pumpkin Pals Parade open to “kids in pumpkin-themed costumes.” At Orting City Park. Free.
  • Turkfest Saturday & Sunday. Explore and experience the cultural roots and contemporary influences of Turkey through live performances, visual arts, hands-on activities, foods, games, an authentic Turkish tea house, and a lively marketplace. Seattle Center Armory. Free.
  • Crossroads Doll & Teddy Bear Show Saturday & Sunday. Shop for dolls, bears, and miniatures at the Washington State Fair Events Center in Puyallup.

  • Thomas Family Farm  October 6 – 31. A haunted hayride, an escape room, and three haunts. Buy a combination ticket or only the haunted house. On Oct. 29 & 30, only the haunted house is open.

  • Stalker Farms  October 6 – 31. This Snohomish haunted farm has two walk-through haunts (Double Dare ticket), a zombie shooting gallery, and a non-haunted corn maze. See schedule
  •  Nile Nightmares  October 5 – 31. An outdoor walk plus indoor mazes at Nile Shrine Golf Center, with a food court and a beer garden. 
  • Carleton Farm  October 5 – 31. Halloween at this Lake Stevens haunted farm includes Zombie Farm, Zombie Paintball, Haunted Swamp, and a Dark Maze, all for age 12+. Fridays & Saturdays.
  • My Morbid Mind Haunted House October 5 – 31. The haunted house in Lacey is inside an old barn in Lacey. Fridays & Saturdays 7-11pm.

  • The Haunted Woods Through October 28. Roam this Buckley haunted farm or the Flashlight Maze (bring your own flashlight) at Maris Farms in Buckley for age 10+. See schedule.
  •  Wild Waves Fright Fest Open Friday, Saturday, Sunday through Oct. 28. Halloween at Wild Waves offers entertainment, rides in the dark, haunted houses, and Booville (for ages 1 to 12) at Wild Waves. Hours.

  •  The Tacoma haunted house has two haunted attractions (The Redemption upstairs, and Shadows downstairs) near the Tacoma Dome for age 12+.
  •  Zoo Boo Saturday & Sunday, 9:30am – 4pm. Children enjoy treats, play games, watch animals play with pumpkins, and wear costumes to get discount admission at Point Defiance Zoo.
