The legendary Fleetwood Mac takes the stage in Tacoma with their new lineup, and the holiday season begins with fun festivals

it's the weekend! Some big musical acts are in our neck of the woods, and you know the holidays are upon us when holiday markets and the Nutcracker start showing up on the calendar. Enjoy!

  • Twenty-one Pilots at the Tacoma Dome Friday, 7:00pm
  • Fleetwood Mac at the Tacoma Dome Saturday, 8pm. 
  • Blues Traveler at the Neptune Saturday, 8pm
  • Good Charlotte Sunday, 6pm, Showbox Sodo
  • University of Washington Football Saturday, 1:30pm Dawgs are hosting the Oregon State Beavers at Husky Stadium.  Pac-12 Network.
  • Thunderbird Hockey Saturday, 6:05pm. The T-Birds are at home against the Portland Winterhawks at ShoWare Center in Kent
  • The Hip Hop Nutcracker  Saturday, 7:30pm
  • Tchaikovsky’s score gets a modern twist with 12 hip-hop dancers (including “King of Rap” Kurtis Blow), an on-stage DJ, an electric violinist, and a digital background with an urban vibe. Paramount Theatre in Seattle          
  •  Beaujolais Nouveau Friday, 7-11pm. Enjoy French food, music, a silent auction, and great wine with views at Columbia Tower Club.
  • Port Gamble Ghost Conference Friday – Sunday. The Ghost Conference features paranormal investigations, guest speakers, and ghost tours in the historic town of Port Gamble. Pre-register.
  • Gobble Up Saturday. Shop for food and beverages from 70 “craft food makers” at the Craft food fair at Bell Harbor Conference Center on Pier 66. Free
  • Cranksgiving  Saturday. A scavenger hunt on your bicycle for Thanksgiving food that you donate to a food bank, with prizes at an after party. Bring $20, a bag/pack, a pen, and a camera/phone to Swift Industries, 558 1st Ave South in Seattle.
  • Holiday Wine Fest   Saturday, 5-9pm. A Wine exhibition that promises a world-class lineup of wines, ciders, spirits, gourmet cuisine, and artisan vendors at Seattle Center Exhibition Hall.
  • Washington Distillers Festival  Saturday, 4-8pm. A ticket to this Spirits tasting includes 10 tasting tokens, 24 participating distilleries, and a silent auction at McMenamins Anderson School for age 21+.
  • Snohomish Holiday Market Saturday. Shop from 65 juried vendors of handcrafted items and gourmet foods at the Holiday market in Snohomish, with live music in the barn at Thomas Family Farm. Free.
  • Julefest  Saturday & Sunday. Formerly Yulefest, this Nordic holiday brings Christmas to the Nordic Heritage Museum in Ballard, with Scandinavian food, craft booths, fiddlers, folk dancers, a beverage garden, and access to the museum. Kids 12 and younger are free.
  •  Festival of Trees Saturday through December 2.  View 21 designer trees in the lobby and driveway of the fantastic Fairmont Olympic Hotel during the annual Christmas tree festival charity event. See schedule for gala, family celebration, and teddy bear suite. Free to view.
  •  Green Lake Gobble & Mashed Potato Munch Off  Sunday. This Pre-Thanksgiving run/walk is a 5K and 10K run/walk and free kids’ dash on the partially closed road around Green Lake, with post-race beer garden and mashed-potato-eating contest.
  •  Stunt Dog Experience Sunday, 6pm. You’ve seen the amazing dogs of Chris Perondi on the “Tonight Show.” Now watch them live as these daredevil dogs perform at the Northshore Performing Arts Center in Bothell.
