So much to do! It's going to be a beautiful weekend for baseball, which is why it's great that the Ms and the Rainiers are both home this weekend. But look what else is going on!

  • Seattle Mariners vs the L.A. Dodgers Friday – Sunday at Safeco Field. Friday and Saturday game time is 7:10pm and Sunday first pitch is at 1:10pm.  Friday is Sing-Along Fireworks Night and Saturday is Mariners T-shirt Night for the first 15,000 fans.
  • Tacoma Rainiers vs the Fresno Grizzlies Friday – Sunday at Cheney Stadium. Friday and Saturday game time is 7:05pm and Sunday starts at 1:35pm.
  • Seattle Storm vs New York Liberty, Friday 7pm at Key Arena.
  • Seattle Sounders FC vs theL.A.Galaxy Saturday, 1pm at CenturyLink Field.
  • Auction of Washington Wines weekend, Friday/Saturday, various locations around Woodinville & Seattle. Sample wines, savor fine food, attend an auction, and visit winemakers at many events, plus a Saturday 10K run and 5K run/walk Kids dash as part of this annual fundraiser for Seattle Children’s.
  • Seattle Tattoo Expo Friday – Sunday, Seattle Center Exhibition Hall. Admire art on skin, with competitions, seminars, exhibitions, and vendors.;
  • Seattle Hempfest Friday – Sunday at Myrtle Edwards Park in Seattle. Celebrating all things cannabis with free music, speakers, and vendors.
  • Pacific NW Chalk Fest  Friday – Sunday. Watch 14 internationally, nationally and regionally renowned chalk artists transform Redmond Town Center into pastel masterpieces. As you peruse street murals, enjoy the Annual Sidewalk Sale, sips and bites from RTC merchants, kids activities, and live music all weekend!. Free.
  • Seattle Taco Takeover Saturday from 1-4pm and 5-8pm. A ticket to this Taco tasting includes samples of tacos and Latin dishes from 10 chefs, 10 tastes of tequila cocktails, games, and live music. Can you handle the heat, Seattle? We’re bringing The Cuervo Tradicional Taco Takeover and Cocktail Competition, presented by Thrillist, to the beautiful Fisher Pavilion on August 18th. As the judges, your job is to try dishes from 10+ chefs serving up their best tacos, sip on tasty submissions to the Jose Cuervo cocktail competition, and enjoy games, live music and more. Tough gig. Fisher Pavilion at Seattle Center for age 21+. Expect lines.  
  • Second Annual Seattle Pizza Crawl Saturday & Sunday. It’s like an art walk but instead of looking at art, you look at and eat a bunch of pizza. You will be able to visit several locations in several neighborhoods starting at 3:00 PM on August 18th. There is no schedule to follow so you get to design your own pizza crawl experience with friends and/or pizza loving strangers. Each participating venue will offer exclusive deals to ticketed participants only.  
  • Seattle Hot Sauce Fest Saturday. Hot sauce tastings, food trucks, a beer garden, lawn games, activities for kids, and a movie at dusk in Ballard Commons Park.
  • Duwamish River Festival Saturday. Come celebrate the river’s amazing comeback with music, lunch, kids’ activities, art activities, and kayak and boat rides at Duwamish Waterway Park. Free. 
  • Chomp! Saturday at Marymoor Park in Redmond. Focused on local farms, chefs, and restaurants, the Eastside food fair has a farmer’s market, healthy food, ecology activities, tiny homes, recycled art, cooking demos, live music, and a beverage garden (beer, cider, wine.) Free except parking.
  • Celebrate Woodinville Festival Saturday. Enjoy pancakes at the fire station, an 11 a.m. parade on 175th Street, a farmer’s market, an arts & crafts fair, a wine & beer garden, food vendors, and kids’ activities at Wilmot Gateway Park. Free.
  • Sammamish Nights  Saturday. Enjoy a beautiful sunset, restaurant food, wine, beer, art, and live music at Sammamish Commons at City Hall for age 21+.
  • Sausage and CiderFest  Saturday. Cider and Sausage?  What’s not to love?  A ticket includes 10 tastes of cider, six wines, sausage samples, music, and lawn games for age 21+ at Covington Community Park.
  • Tumwater Artesian Brewfest  Saturday. Beer has a long history in the Olympia area because of its natural springs. Taste 100 northwest beers at the Tumwater beer festival, with wine, food trucks, and games, on a golf course for age 21+. No pets.
  • Kids Obstacle Challenge  Saturday & Sunday at Lake Sammamish State Park. Kids 5 to 16 run through mud and over obstacles. Parents, get off the sidelines and get active with your kids. Kids Obstacle Challenge is the most fun parents will have at a kids event because you get to run, complete challenging obstacles, and get muddy too. Become a hero instantly! Parents are always free in family waves. And kids who register for the competitive wave can participate with their parents in a family wave afterward for free!
  • Fresh Paint: Festival of Artists at Work  Saturday & Sunday at the Port of Everett Marina. A hundred artists’ booths, two entertainment stages, food vendors, and a beer garden. Free.  Purchase art fresh off the easel during Everett's waterfront art festival presented by the Schack Art Center. The entire length of the marina promenade will be filled with artist booths, turning the marina into a huge outdoor studio and sidewalk galler with painting, pottery, glass, jewelry, photography & much more.
