Where can creative, hard-working women with big ideas go for support, collaboration . . . and a killer mojito? It's called The Wing, and it's coming to Seattle.

They call it "a home base for women on their way." It's already up and running successfully in New York, but Seattle's Wing   is on the way.

Here's how their website describes the mission of The Wing:

The Wing is a network of co-working and community spaces designed for women. The Wing’s mission is the professional, civic, social, and economic advancement of women through community.  We believe that the act of coming together as women creates new opportunities, ideas and conversations that will lead to greater mobility and prosperity for womankind.

A story in Seattle Met gives some more details about the place:

Members can partake in a “robust and unique calendar of events,” plus a curated menu of food, wine, and cocktails created by female chefs; meanwhile, sommeliers and mixologists are available at the Wing’s in-house cafe (dubbed ‘The Perch’). Other amenities—a lactation room, hair blowouts on demand, “really good wifi”—would make any hardworking gal swoon.

How much will all this sisterhood bonding and socializing cost? At its NYC location, the monthly fee is between $215 and $250, depending on how often you're going to need that lactation room, I guess.

Target date for opening in Seattle at 2302 First Avenue in Belltown is mid-2019. Check out lots of pictures of the New York City version of The Wing and tell me it doesn't look super cool. I want to go to The Wing! But I can't! No men allowed!
